Maker: Seth Thomas Clock Company of Thomaston, Connecticut.
Mechanism: It features an 8-day lever, double spring -driven movement. the two winding points on the face are for the time and the striking (Bell) mechanism.
Dial details: The clock has a silver dial with a beautiful patina due to age, with roman numerals and a "sub-seconds' dial located at the 12 o'clock position.
Case: brass case, these clocks were designed for marine use, mounted in a wooden backboard.
