size: closed 3 1/4" X 7/8"
open: 6 1/2"this knife nis in beautiful condition, looks like some dirt can be tarnish I didn't want to clean it some people like the vintage look in the blades, please refer to pictures for best understanding of condition.
This is a rare folding knife made by Emil Olsson. It has four folding attachments: a larger the larger blade has the signature, "Emil Olsson Ekilstuna Sweden" and a star, engraved on it. The two smaller blade has a number 10 engraved on it, which I believe is a style number. I read some that Emil Olsson was in business manufacturing knives from 1898 to 1967, so obviously, this knife is pre-1967. I think, though, that it is possibly pre-1930's, based on my searching random knife forums and other similar listings on eBay. Although, again, I am not a collector and do not know anything about what makes up "quality" or "condition" for knives, but I can honestly say that this knife appears to be high-quality and in excellent condition for its age (from a lay person's perspective). I have seen others listed on and this one far surpasses them in condition, although it is obvious that it is not a "new" knife. The blades are sharp but do look like they will need to be re-sharpened. The knife is possibly stainless steel, and the body has black (enamel?) and gold (gilding?)
