Solingen, Germany, was renowned for its blade-making tradition, often called the “City of Blades.” During World War II, several Solingen-based manufacturers produced bayonets for the German Wehrmacht, especially for the Karabiner 98k (K98) rifle.
- Blade: Typically long and slender, often with a fuller. Combat versions were sharpened, while dress bayonets (used for ceremonial purposes) were nickel-plated and unsharpened.
- Handle: stag horn, with a curved pommel and cross guard
- The bayonet is in excellent condition please refer to pictures for better understanding of condition.
